Hooray! Viva! Fantastique! New e-Learning Content For Beginning Language Learners In Auralog's TELL ME MORE
Auralog, the award-winning publisher of TELL ME MORE language learning solutions, has added content specifically for beginners to its line up of award-winning solutions: Education Online and CAMPUS for English, Spanish and French.
In response to student and teacher requests, new additional introductory-level content is available for English, Spanish and French. "Our goal is to serve our clients by continually focusing on their needs," explains Nagi Sioufi, Auralog President. "We listen to the students and instructors who work in TELL ME MORE everyday. A need was identified to familiarize learners who may have had little-to-no exposure to the language they are studying. Learning a new language is challenging but even more so for people who have had very limited contact with native speakers. Unlike Europe with its myriad of languages, Americans are not exposed to many different languages and don't typically have much of a foundation to build on. The introductory content was developed to help beginners feel comfortable, and start the learning process with confidence."
The beginning language learner does a great deal of listening before speaking as comprehension must occur first. The two new language tracks are pedagogically designed to support the unique needs of language learners just starting to learn the target language. While beginners can participate in conversations, their participation typically begins in small quantities while building vocabulary and confidence. Beginners who learn and practice words, phrases and enunciation within an environment specifically designed for them progress faster towards fluency because of the elimination of potential embarrassment caused by speaking in front of others. Practicing skills that build on each other in a positive, non-threatening learning environment helps give beginners a solid foundation for language mastery.
The new introductory content addresses the needs of learners who are at a complete beginner level. Step-by-step introduction of concepts starting with the basics helps learners to begin building a foundation. Topics are introduced and then reinforced with a variety of activities and exercises. As with every TELL ME MORE solution, the introductory content is based on authentic materials, utilizes the communicative approach and builds on skills practiced in previous lessons; thereby making learning comprehensive. An additional 45 hours of beginner-focused learning has been added to TELL ME More's unparalleled breadth of 2,000 content hours. English, Spanish and French language programs will receive two new learning paths containing 10 lessons and 9 sub-lessons each. Learners can access another 20 lessons per language which equates to 30-45 minutes of additional learning for each new lesson.
Beginners are immersed into English, Spanish and French by learning and practicing greetings, the Alphabet, clothing, feelings, likes and dislikes, age, family, pets, the human body, physical appearance, occupations, countries, nationalities, the date, and days of the week. Building on the basics provides beginners the skills and confidence to achieve fluency. Learn more online at http://www.auralog.com
