Is my PC compatible?

It is essential that you authorize Flash® to access your microphone in order to be able to use the speech recognition technology.

If a Flash® configuration window appears at the beginning of the exercise, simply follow the instructions displayed on the screen: click on “Authorize,” then “Store,” then “Close,” then “Refresh.”

Your microphone should then be correctly adjusted. If its recording volume is set too high or too low, your responses may not be recorded correctly, you may be interrupted before you have finished speaking, or alternatively the activity may fail to continue even when you have finished speaking.

You can consult this guide at any time while using the software, by clicking on the arrow at the bottom of the speech recognition block.

Your PC requires the following characteristics as a minimum:

? Operating systems: Microsoft Windows® XP/ Vista/ Seven 32/64 bits, Macintosh OS X v10.3 and higher, or recent versions of Linux (example: Ubuntu 9.10 released in 2009)
? 1.5 GHz processor, 512 Mb RAM, 50 Mb available hard disk space, 1024x768 graphic resolution, 16 million colors and higher, a sound card, integrated speakers and a microphone (or headset)
? Internet browser: Internet Explorer 7 (32 bits or higher), Safari version 4 and higher, Firefox version 3.5 and higher
? Chrome version 4 and higher
? Flash® Player 10.0 and higher
? Connexion réseau/Internet 192 kb/s minimum
